Who We Are
Doug Crawford and Sue Anne Bennett are “Everyone In Rhythm.”
We are high-spirited facilitators of rhythm-based programs. Together, we integrate over
20 years of business management expertise with our musical experience and drum circle
facilitation skills to deliver effective yet inspirational programs!
After meeting in 2005 at Arthur Hull’s Drum Circle Facilitation training in Hawaii,
Doug and Sue Anne have been co-facilitating drum circles together in the Sacramento
area.
Doug and Sue Anne are gifted at working with people of all ages to bring out their
natural creativity and joy through inspired drumming.
Doug Crawford has been playing music for over 25 years and now specializes in hand drumming. He has performed at the Mondavi Center and for the California International Marathon.
Doug has extensive experience leading drum circles for people of all ages. He does teen retreats,
has participated in programs for a number of schools in El Dorado county, community events, private
retreats and corporate training. He has facilitated a drum circle twice a month in West Sacramento
for the past 4 years; playing with people from 4 - 80 years young!
Sue Anne is a former corporate manager who discovered hand drumming in 1997; her early musical training
included piano and flute. She is the founder of Rhythm Joy and a Board member of New Rhythms Foundation.
Since 2003 she has been sharing her sheer joy for life by facilitating hundreds of rhythm
circles where she delights and empowers various populations ages 3 - 100 in the San Francisco Bay
and Sacramento areas.
She also participated in professional presentations with Heather Mac Tavish, founder of New Rhythms Foundation,
at the Central California Recreational Therapists Symposium sponsored by California State University
Fresno and with Arthur Hull and Heather MacTavish at the American Society on Aging Annual Conference in San Francisco.
